One summer night in the month of March, on it's 3rd day, on the year 1997, a kicking baby girl was born. Named after my grandmother's name, Oliva, my name is Olive Mary Joyce R. Infante. I grew just like any other kid. Cared and loved by my mom, cuddled and disciplined by my dad and wanted by all of my family members. I am the youngest in the family which means I have my eldest sibling. She's the best eldest sister any kiddo could have. i am 16 years old and currently residing at Brgy. Suarez, Iligan City with my loving family. Obviously, I am here at MSU-IIT to learn,study and be an efficient teacher in the near future. I am taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education Major in English. I really love English, inspired by my English teacher way back high school. Aside from that, I really love kids. I don't know why. I just feel so happy, carefree and alive every time I'm with one. Their smiles inspire me to continue their journey. Their laughter's give me strength to face all the challenges that I'm going to encounter here at MSU-IIT. I may not be as competitive and smart as any other elementary teachers, I know in myself that I just don't give lessons in class on those kids. I'll give them lessons and experiences that will serve as another teacher to them in facing their own challenges in their lives. Being a teacher is not just giving lessons, writing lesson plans and etc. Being a teacher is giving your students what you have. Not just as a teacher but as a friend as well. They also need a father or a mother when they're in school. And that's the role of a teacher. That's what I wanted to be someday. An inspiring teacher, an awesome friend and a caring and loving mother to all of my students in the future.
Life may be out of tune, I can sing it well. If it wants to play with me then game. I can even meet it's challenges and even realize it's dreams. Life means offering sacrifices to achieve your goals. And also, this all won't be a wonderful journey without enjoyment. Learn to love life. Embrace it's problems and hug it tightly. Don't stress yourself with problems. Let them stress themselves. Life won't be life without problems, temptations and failures. That's why we must deal with it well. Handle it like we are not stressed with it. Because in the end, life will always be life. Challenging, problem-prone yet inspiring and enjoyable.
